Directly from DJ Brian Crow...

I really respect the DJ who eats, sleeps, and breathes his or her creativity. There's so much to do with music. DJs make hits what they are. If you hear an old school track mixed with something new, it's because the DJ did their homework. They always find a way to keep it alive and mix it in their set. I especially love the mixture of Hip-Hop and Rock. You can't beat that.

My highest respects

Some of my favorite DJs are SCENE, AM(R.I.P.), ROONIE G, CHRIS P, GRANDMASTER FLASH, DJ KOOL, KID CAPRI, JAZZY JEFF, JAM MASTER JAY of RUN DMC, and many others. As I think of them I will post their names. These guys are innovators and pioneers of the trade. They make being a DJ fun.

Push play and die:

The days of pushing play and simply fading into the next song off beat are over and done with. People on the dance floor expect you to keep it moving. The great DJs of the world changed the way we play music. If you can't beatmix, scratch, drop, or just spin out on time, go back to the drawing board. Seriously! Not all events require that skill. I understand that. I have no problem conforming to each job.

Cloud Nine

I am a DJ who loves the art of DJing. I'm still amazed today to see a good performance. Some of these guys out here are blessed to be able to spend as much time as they do splicing, dicing, and mixing tracks. It takes practice to know your sets and routines. My Highest respects go to the DJs that made this an art form.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EQUIPMENT
Though the equipment Brian uses is expensive, professional, and reliable, what would all of that be worth if he didn't carry back up equipment? You should expect a DJ of his level to have professional equipment. You should expect that it is well cared for and that he has knowledge of how to properly operate it. What you might not expect is for Brian to carry the same exact equipment for his back up. A lot of DJs do not do it this way. The reason is simple. If you have a Mercedes Benz it might be more practical to have an economy car as your back up transportation. This philosophy does not exist with Brian when it comes to his DJ equipment. His back up equipment mirrors is main rig. Last but not least on this subject, you should ask about this topic when you meet him.
